Boris Johnson, London's Mayor, has announced changes to the way vehicles are to be charged for entering London's Congestion Zones with effect from 4th January 2011.
Vehicles will now be judged on emissions irrespective of the type of fuel used, to reflect significant improvements in 'traditional' fuel technologies.
Vehicles with a lower or equal to emissions rating of 100g CO2/Km and a Euro 5 rating will be given a 100% discount (subject to a £10 p.a registration fee)
